Final Recommendations from Community Conversations on Homelessness and Housing Options - Video and Survey Now Available
May 18 and 19, City of Greeley officials hosted a third and final round of community conversations on homelessness and housing alternatives in Greeley. Consultants presented final recommendations for homeless services, local coordination, and housing options in Greeley based on public feedback gathered throughout the process.
Participants also discussed the costs and financial feasibility of the recommendations, funding options, and next steps.
A video recording of the in-person meeting held May 18 and a survey to provide feedback are now available at greeleygov.com/homelessandhousingservices. The meeting materials (powerpoint, agenda, etc.) are also provided at this site, along with feedback from community stakeholder interviews and previous community conversations.
The community conversation facilitators encourage residents to watch the video and then take a few minutes to provide their thoughts via the online survey, which includes questions and discussion points from the May meetings.
Staff will combine the survey feedback with comments from the virtual and in-person meetings for the final overall assessment of homelessness and housing needs in Greeley. The deadline for completing the survey is Friday, May 27. City staff and project consultants, Urbanity Advisors, will present final recommendations to City Council on Tuesday, June 14 during the work session. Council meeting information can be found by visiting the City’s meeting portal online.
