Funding Tips for Creatives Clinic
A free special and informal information and networking event for those who work in the field of creative endeavors is set for Thursday, July 18th from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the City of Greeley City Center South building, Council Chambers, 1001 11th Avenue. The event is hosted by the Greeley Creative District.
The featured speaker is Sheila Sears, Deputy Director for Colorado Creative Industries, a state organization dedicated to supporting the economic health of arts and creative individuals and organizations across Colorado. The workshop will focus on funding resources, grants, and tips for Creatives and organizations that utilize and promote the work of artists and creatives. Artists, entertainers, photographers, writers, videographers – anyone who produces creative works will benefit from this presentation.
Attendees will also have a chance to hear of upcoming activities, suggest ideas, enjoy light refreshments, and network with other Creatives.
“Our Creative community helps enrich Greeley’s quality of life in so many ways,” notes Becky Safarik, Greeley Creative District President. “We host these informal sessions for Creatives and the community to share timely information to support their work and relay upcoming activities and events.
