Greeley’s Water Conservation program has the solution for with its Garden In A Box sale.

Residents can order the gardens in July and August and pick them up on Sept. 14. These pre-designed kits are tailored to Colorado’s soil and climate. The simple plant-by-number maps take the guesswork out of buying and planting. Plus, the garden kits help save water compared to a traditional grass lawn — not to mention the savings on a water bill.

Starting at $110, there is a Garden In A Box to fit any budget or yard. To sweeten the deal, Greeley Water Conservation (in partnership with Resource Central) is offering a limited number of $25 discounts to Greeley water customers to encourage conservation. This is the third time that Greeley is offering a fall Garden In A Box sale. Greeley has provided a spring garden sale, since 2013. 

Landscape experts recommend planting late in the growing season.  Perennials can be planted right up until the ground freezes.
