The City of Greeley encourages local startups to apply for a free accelerator program

GREELEY, Colo. — Applications are now open for the gBETA Greeley startup program. Entrepreneurs and small business owners can apply through August 31. The free, seven-week program is run by gener8tor, a national startup support group, in partnership with the City of Greeley.

gBETA Greeley helps early-stage businesses grow. It offers one-on-one coaching and connects founders with mentors, customers, business partners and investors. The goal is to grow local businesses, support new ideas and build a strong startup community in Greeley. The program focuses on key industries like agriculture, energy and manufacturing.

Five startups will be selected for the Fall 2025 program, which starts September 19. The gBETA Greeley program launched in Fall 2024. Since then, 10 startups have graduated from the program and raised over $500,000 in funding.

“We're proud to work with gener8tor to support local entrepreneurs,” said Derrek Jerred, Greeley’s Economic Development Manager. “It’s been great to see business owners come together, share ideas and grow. We’re proud of what the first ten startups have done and look forward to supporting the next group of local startups.”

Program Manager Allie Reitz encourages everyone to celebrate the launch of the Fall 2025 program on September 19 from 5–7 p.m. in downtown Greeley. Meet the five startups and connect with other business leaders and community members. The event is free. RSVP to stay updated.

Startup companies interested in learning more and applying for the Fall 2025 cohort are encouraged to visit the gBETA Greeley website. Applications will be accepted now through August 31.
