Greeley Completes 2024 Community Survey with Record Participation
GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley has successfully concluded its 2024 Community Survey, marking the highest response rate in the survey’s history. City officials expressed appreciation for the high level of engagement from residents in a recent City Hall meeting, underscoring the importance of community input in guiding future decisions.
“The feedback we’ve received from the community is truly invaluable. It gives us a real sense of what matters most to our residents. This input will help guide our decisions, especially when it comes to investing in the things that make a difference in people’s daily lives,” said Winna MacLaren, Communication & Engagement Director.
Key Findings
Survey results highlighted key areas for future investment including street, sidewalk and utility maintenance, as well as traffic flow and congestion management. Other findings include:
- Greeley’s performance exceeded the Mountain regional average in 38 out of 58 categories assessed, with ratings significantly higher (by 5% or more) in 29 areas.
- Greeley also outperformed the national average in 25 areas, with similarly higher ratings.
- 70% of residents are satisfied with Greeley as a place to live, and 60% are satisfied with it as a place to raise children.
- Residents expressed the highest satisfaction with fire services, parks and recreation, and police services.
“We’re grateful for the community’s participation and input, which will be essential in our continued efforts to improve quality of life in Greeley,” added Assistant City Manager Kelli Johnson.
