Greeley Officials Ask For Reports of July 1 Flood Damage

The City of Greeley’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) wants residents and businesses to report damage from the July 1, 2021, flood as a part of a preliminary damage assessment report.

Greeley OEM, in partnership with the Weld County Office of Emergency Management, set up a self-reporting tool to ascertain the damage and cost of the July 1 flood. Greeley-area residents and business owners can report flood damage online at report-co-weld.orioncentral.com.

“We are trying to get an accurate picture of what damage happened and where, so we are better prepared and we can look at additional mitigation projects in the future,” said Greeley Emergency Manager Dan Frazen. “The self-reporting tool and its system will map out the damaged properties and give us an idea of the cost associated with the damages. Then we will provide that data to the State of Colorado as a part of the preliminary report.”
