Greeley Ranks 8th Most Dynamic Metropolitan Region
Greeley ranked 8th among 375 U.S. metropolitan areas in a new report published by Heartland Forward.
The report, "Most Dynamic Metropolitan Regions," draws upon both pre-pandemic data and recent job momentum data to assess each metropolitan's economic performance before and during the pandemic. It recognized Greeley’s mix of food, fracking, wind turbines, and several corporate facilities as big contributors to its economic success. The report noted that cities with vibrant tech, tourism, and oil and gas industries performed best in their ranking.
“We are really proud to be recognized on the most recent list of top-performing cities,” said Benjamin Snow, the City of Greeley’s Economic Health & Housing director. “We have long enjoyed strong performances from our agricultural and energy sectors, and see a growing diversification into education, construction, and healthcare. Even post-pandemic, we are poised for a strong economic rebound.”
