Greeley’s 49th Annual Spring Clean Up Weekend is April 26 and 27
GREELEY, Colo. — Greeley's community-wide annual spring clean-up weekend encourages residents to declutter and help get rid of items that are difficult to throw away. The 2024 Spring Clean-Up will take place Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine.
The event offers three designated drop-off sites for various types of waste, including household hazardous materials, yard waste and other debris. Commercial dumping is strictly prohibited during clean-up weekend. Participants are required to secure all loose materials with a tarp and present identification or proof of residency, such as a utility bill.
City of Greeley Streets Superintendent Jerry Pickett emphasized the importance of the event in maintaining the city's cleanliness and helping residents get rid of their unwanted items.
“This event helps keep Greeley clean and looking nice,” Pickett said. “It gets busy, so we ask people to be patient and know we are working hard to get to your vehicle as soon as possible.”
To streamline traffic flow, a check-in station will be added by the staff.
