GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley will host Let’s Bike Day (formerly Bike to Work Day) on Wednesday, June 26. Community members can celebrate active transportation including bicycling, walking, and rolling by ditching their vehicle and riding while out and about instead.
Agencies and businesses will host ride-by stations in both the morning and afternoon across the city. Morning stations will serve the public from 7-9:30 a.m. Afternoon stations are generally open from 3-7 p.m. but may vary based on each business’s operational hours.
This year, sponsor ALLO Fiber is generously donating $1500 towards a bike from Blue Sky Cycles for a random giveaway. Riders can enter for a chance to win by visiting a station, either in the morning or afternoon. Up to two entries per rider (one for morning and one for the afternoon) are allowed.
For updates on the event and a map of station locations, visit greeleygov.com/activities/greeley-bikes/bike-to-work-day.

Plan a Ride
Greeley Bikes boasts approximately 85 miles of in-town bike lanes, just one part of the city’s bikeway system. With the bike map developed in 2017, planning a trip is easy. Review the rules of the road to ensure safe riding, and always wear a helmet and stay hydrated.
Bikes are welcome while riding Greeley Evans Transit (GET) fixed-route buses. All fixed-route buses (transit services that run on a specific route with pre-determined schedules and stops) have three bike racks on the front of the bus.
