Greeley Seeks Feedback for Update to Landscaping Requirements
Greeley residents and community members can help shape the city’s new landscaping rules and regulations by participating in an online survey.
As City of Greeley staff work to update the existing, outdated landscape code, officials want feedback on three major areas they hope to focus on during this process: water conservation, landscaping requirements, and enforceability of the code.
Community feedback will help inform the revisions proposed by staff as they work through this process.
Community members can find the survey at www.greeleygov.com/services/cd or:
The survey will remain open through Dec. 3.
Greeley staff will hold a webinar at 4:30 p.m., Nov. 5, to explain the landscape code revision process, the focus areas, and important dates. A recording of the webinar will become available online on the Greeley Planning Department website and on the city’s YouTube channel at a later date.
Register for the webinar online here.
After the survey closes, city staff will process the results and comments and may incorporate them into the draft revised landscape code. The city’s planning commission and city officials will consider that draft document and its proposed changes before potentially accepting any changes.
