Greeley Water Utility Customers Not Likely to Need Additional Water Testing Service
Greeley residents are receiving door hangers on their homes from a company called Clear Water Research with an offer to test their tap water for free. The city of Greeley has received concerns from residents about this solicitation. This company is not associated with the City and data collected by Clear Water Research is not being used for any purpose related to the City’s operation of its water utility. Clear Water Research is a private company offering self-described, environmental products.
Greeley water is safe and meets all Federal and State requirements. If you are concerned with what is in our water Greeley publishes an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act to provide customers with information about the quality of their drinking water. The CCR is published and inserted into the water bills each June. The CCR gives a breakdown of what’s in Greeley’s water.
