The deadline for responding to two resident surveys is swiftly approaching, but there is still time to have your opinion counted! The randomly selected households in Greeley and Windsor that were invited to participate have already received their survey forms, which included an invitation to respond via postage paid US mail or online. In order to be counted in the survey responses, all mailed or online submissions must be received no later than Tuesday, September 26.
Greeley’s City Council and staff are extremely interested in residents’ thoughts regarding a variety of topics related to community perceptions, City government services and the Greeley Unexpected image campaign. In order to gather a representative sample of resident input, a survey was distributed to 3,000 randomly selected households in Greeley including a number of University of Northern Colorado students, as well as a shorter survey to 2,000 Windsor addresses.
It is extremely important that invited households participate, as their opinions will be used to gauge the attitudes and opinions of their community.
The results will be used by the Council and City staff to help make decisions on how best to use public resources to provide services, address priorities and promote the community. The results will be reported to the Council and residents in December of 2017.
The surveys are being administered by National Research Center, Inc, an independent survey research firm in Colorado.
