Have a Tree-mendous Time at the 33rd Annual Festival of Trees
A Greeley holiday favorite, the 2022 Greeley Festival of Trees starts Friday, Nov. 25, and goes on for more than a week through Saturday, Dec. 3—nine days of festive, family-friendly, frolicking fun at the Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave.
Bursting with beautiful, illuminated trees decorated by the community, the Festival of Trees strives to inspire a kinship among residents, businesses, and organizations—and raise money for Union Colony Civic Center and the Greeley Philharmonic Guild.
With a wonderful live and online auction, choirs and musicians, kids’ activities, a gingerbread village, horse and wagon rides, and visits from St. Nick and Mrs. Claus all packed into the nine-day celebration, it offers something for everyone.
Additionally, this year has three special events:
- The Whoville Holiday—9-11:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26—includes crowd-favorite activities from scavenger hunts to crafts and cookie decorating.
- Whiskey Wonderland and Other Spirits of the Season—7-9 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26—with whiskey and spirit tastings, a chance to visit with local distillers, enter drawings, and more.
- Watercolor and Wine—7-9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 30—where participants get a miniature canvas and easel to create a holiday watercolor masterpiece, plus wine and finger food.
A limited number of tickets will be sold and may be purchased online at ucstars.com or by calling 970-356-5000.
