History Brown Bag Series: Colorado Model Railroad Museum

The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission continues the free 2019 History Brown Bag series held each month from January through October, noon to 1 p.m.  On Thursday, October 24th at noon, Executive Director of the Colorado Model Railroad Museum Michelle Kempema will present about the history and artifacts of the museum and lead a tour of the museum.  She invites the public to come learn about the history of how and why the Colorado Model Railroad Museum came to be, and how it operates uniquely in the world.  She will discuss what modern technology looks like when applied to an "antique" hobby and will discuss a few of the key artifacts followed with a walking tour of the museum.  The presentation will be held at the Colorado Model Railroad Museum, 680 10th Street.  It is free and open to the public and reservations are not required.

This is the final presentation of the 2019 History Brown Bag series.
