The Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave., welcomes a legend whose career spans three generations of music, television and motion pictures, Frankie Avalon on Saturday, January 19, at 7:30 p.m.
With a long string of million-selling singles and albums, Avalon’s music was one of the defining sounds of the Pre-Beatles rock ‘n’ roll. Now, this multi-faceted star is currently one of the busiest nightclub performers in the country, playing in the nation’s finest supper clubs. Known as one of Hollywood’s most prolific fathers, Avalon’s hits include, “Why” and “Venus” not to mention his role in “Grease” where he sang “Beauty School Dropout.”
In recent years, Avalon has become involved with The National Arthritis Foundation, and heads his own company, Frankie Avalon Venus, Ltd. Avalon, singer, musician, actor, businessman and family man brings all the hits you once loved back on stage.
