Imagine What’s Next for East Greeley
Community Open House on August 7 to Kick-off Long-Range Planning Effort
GREELEY, Colo. — Greeley residents are invited to a community open house to help shape the future of East Greeley. The East Greeley Subarea Plan visioning session will take place on Thursday, August 7, from 6-8 p.m. at Zoe’s Café and Events, 715 10th Street. Light refreshments will be available.
This drop-in event is a chance to share ideas about what the east side of Greeley should look like in the next 10-20 years. Project team members will give a short presentation at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Attendees can explore hands-on activities throughout the room.
Attendees will also be invited to complete a short survey that will guide the next steps of the plan.
A Community-Driven Plan
The East Greeley Subarea Plan joins the West Greeley Subarea Plan as part of a larger, long-term effort to plan for Greeley’s future. This plan focuses on the unique features and needs of East Greeley. Key features include the Greeley-Weld County Airport, Linn Grove Cemetery and agricultural farmland. As the city continues to evolve, the plan will respect the area’s history and character while also planning for new homes, businesses and parks.
