Latino Health Forum
The City of Greeley invites residents from all backgrounds to join us for the Latino Health Forum on Monday, Oct. 28. The event is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. and takes place at the Rodarte Community Center, 920 A St. in Greeley.
This forum features keynote speaker, Dr. Evelinn Borrayo, associate director of the Latino Research & Policy Center. Dr. Borrayo's presentation explores the health disparities within the Hispanic/Latino/a/x community.
Following Dr. Borrayo's speech, a panel of health and sports professionals will discuss issues in access and resources and opportunities available for the Latino/a/x community to engage in health and active living in our community. This event is free and open to the public. Dinner and children's activities will be available throughout the forum.
This event is a collaboration with the University of Northern Colorado and the Colorado School of Public Health.
