GREELEY, Colo. — The City of Greeley is proud to announce the formation of its new Homeless Solutions Outreach Team, aimed at addressing the needs of residents, businesses and individuals experiencing homelessness within the community.

The Homeless Solutions Outreach Team, operational since April 15, is dedicated to providing essential support to those in need. Committed to proactive outreach and education, the team endeavors to connect with the community and collaborate with local partners to offer vital services and resources.

"Ensuring the well-being and safety of all Greeley residents is paramount," Assistant City Manager Juliana Kitten said. "By establishing the Homeless Solutions Outreach Team, we are taking concrete action to address homelessness and support our community members in need. This initiative aligns with the City Council's Seven Key Focus Areas, particularly our commitment to Housing For All."

The Outreach Team can be reached daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 970-351-5005 and is available to assist individuals facing various challenges, including mental health crises, substance abuse issues and homelessness. Additionally, residents are encouraged to contact the team with any questions or concerns they may have.

For non-emergency situations such as witnessing illegal activities or feeling unsettled, residents are urged to contact the non-emergency police line at 970-350-9600. In case of emergencies, including fires, medical emergencies or imminent danger, individuals should dial 9-1-1 for immediate assistance.

The establishment of the Homeless Solutions Outreach Team underscores the City of Greeley's commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive and supportive community for all its residents and businesses. By working collaboratively with stakeholders and prioritizing outreach and assistance, Greeley aims to create a more resilient and compassionate city for generations to come.
