Officials Seek Public Feedback on “Get Outdoors Greeley” Plan

City of Greeley Natural Areas & Trails Division staff began developing a five-year Strategic Plan for Natural Areas, Trails, and Open Lands; community feedback is an essential piece to this process.

Resident input will help guide the direction of the development of programs to help families access nature close to home, protect areas of ecological significance, and build additional recreational opportunities.

This strategic process began in June, 2020. A diverse steering committee of city staff, non-profit, academic and community representation developed the “Get Outdoors Greeley” draft. City officials want public input to consider and include in the final plan.

Virtual Public Meetings
Residents and interested community members can participate in the English language virtual workshop at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3. Residents can register at https://bit.ly/GreeleyOutdoors1.
