Oral History Stories from the Archives at August History Brown Bag Zoom
The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission will continue the free 2020 History Brown Bag series with a chance to see museum volunteer Marian Ruge present stories from the oral histories in the City of Greeley Museums’ collection from noon to 1 p.m., Aug. 27, through a special Zoom meeting.
The City of Greeley Museums keep more than 300 recorded interviews in the collection. Museum volunteer Marian Ruge will share some of the fascinating facts and stories about people and places in Weld County that she learned from transcribing these interviews.
The presentation will take place through Zoom and attendees must email betsy.kellums@greeleygov.com to RSVP and receive the information needed to connect to the Zoom meeting to watch the Brown Bag presentation.
History Brown Bag presentations generally take place on the fourth Thursday of each month January through October, noon to 1 p.m.
