Oral History Stories from the Archives at September History Brown Bag Zoom

The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission will continue the free 2020 History Brown Bag series with a chance to see museum volunteer Marian Ruge present stories from the oral histories in the City of Greeley Museums’ collection from noon to 1 p.m., Sept. 24 through a special Zoom meeting.

This presentation is a repeat of her August presentation.

The City of Greeley Museums keeps more than 300 recorded interviews in the collection. Museum volunteer Marian Ruge will share some of the fascinating facts and stories about people and places in Weld County that she has learned from transcribing these interviews.

History Brown Bag presentations generally take place on the fourth Thursday of each month January through October, noon to 1 p.m.

Due to COVID-19-related closures, tentatively, this remaining brown bag presentation will take place via Zoom:

  • September 24 - Voices from the Archives, Marian Ruge (repeated from August)
