Paratransit and Call-N-Ride Services Expand to New Hospital
Starting Monday paratransit and Call-N-Ride programs offered by Greeley-Evans Transit (GET) will offer services to the UCHealth Greeley Hospital and Medical Center southwest of U.S. 34 Bypass and 65th Avenue.
The Call-N-Ride program offers curb-to-curb service, picking up and dropping off passengers, at the Greeley Mall transfer center — at the west side of the mall — and going directly to the front doors of the UCHealth hospital.
A trip costs $3 per person each way. Fares paid on other GET services will not transfer into or from this program and riders must pay a new fare.
Passengers may purchase a 20-ride ticket book or punch card for $48 each. Riders can buy ticket books or punch cards at the GET office, 101 11th Ave., Greeley, or at Greeley City Hall, 1000 10th St.
Passengers must schedule rides at least one day in advance, and no more than two weeks ahead of time. Schedule rides by going to www.greeleyevanstransit.com/booking or calling the dispatch office at 970-350-9290. Ride requests are subject to seating availability.
Transit officials will monitor and adjust these services as necessary. For more details or questions about this expansion of services, please contact Transit Operations Supervisor Leiton Powell at Leiton.powell@greeleygov.com or 970-350-9289.
