GREELEY, Colo. — Beginning June 27, sections of 83rd Avenue from F Street to 10th Street will close for approximately 120 days to allow local contractor Crow Creek Construction to install underground utility infrastructure and roadwork for a new neighborhood development in the area.
Crow Creek’s work will be completed in two phases:
83rd Avenue, from F Street to 4th Street (45-60 Days): Traffic on 83rd Avenue will be diverted at both 4th Street and O Street. Detour signs will guide traffic to use 59th Avenue as an alternative route. Local traffic to the Poudre River Ranch neighborhood will be still allowed from the north.
83rd Avenue, from 4th Street to 10th Street (45-60 Days): Traffic on 83rd Avenue will be diverted at both 4th Street and 10th Street. Detour signs will guide traffic to utilize 59th Avenue as an alternative route.
The contractor will directly notify impacted residents and facilities, including the Poudre Learning Center, about how to maintain access to property entrances. The city requests that all other road users please follow detour signage until work has been completed.
While some minor impacts to the Poudre River Trail are expected, both eastbound and westbound access to the trail will be operational for the majority of the project. For up-to-date closure information, visit COTREX (trails.colorado.gov).
Please contact Crow Creek Construction at (970) 330-5070 with questions or concerns.
