Sheep Draw Trail Temporary Closure for Sewer Line Construction Begins Jan. 16
The Sheep Draw Trail in Pumpkin Ridge Natural Area, 6300 10th St., between 4th Street to the north 10th Street to the south will close for ten days starting Jan. 16 for the replacement of a sanitary sewer line in the area.
During this project, heavy construction equipment will regularly cross the Sheep Draw Trail. To install the new sewer line, crews will have to remove a portion of the trail’s concrete. Immediately after the sewer lines goes in, crews will repair the trail path. The Sheep Draw Trail will reopen for use after the concrete cures. Crews will restore disturbed soil areas in early spring.
This sewer line project brings service to new multi-family housing development, currently under construction on 10th Street and adjacent to the Pumpkin Ridge Natural Area.
