Showerhead Exchange in Greeley: January 24
Greeley’s Water Conservation Program plans showerhead
exchange events to help Greeley water customers, use less water. The
next exchange is scheduled for Saturday, January 24 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at
Greeley’s Winter Farmers’ Market at 1100 8th Avenue. To get free showerheads,
you must bring your water bill from the City of Greeley Water & Sewer
Department and the showerheads you wish to replace.
The new showerheads are low-water use, high functioning, EPA WaterSense
labeled showerheads. Most people save at least a gallon per minute of shower
time with the exchange. Kitchen and bathroom aerators are also available at no
cost. At the exchange, you can choose which style of showerhead that you
want:
Handheld Showerhead available in a chrome finish Handheld models
have a variety of settings. It is detachable from its base so, one can aim
the stream of water to any part of the body. Great for bathing children, dogs,
or cleaning out the shower stall. It is also good for use with a shower
seat.
Adjustable Showerhead available in chrome or white finish This
showerhead features a 9-jet adjustable massage that easily rotates from gentle
rain, combination and massage settings.
Rain/Hotel Showerhead
available in a white or chrome finish This model offers a wide 4.4”
shower spray, consistent flow and delivers an exceptional shower experience
while conserving water. Only has one setting, but includes an easy-to-use 360
degree swivel head.
