Splash into Summer with Swimming Opportunities in Greeley
The City of Greeley’s outdoor pools and splash parks officially open May 27. What a great way to celebrate Memorial Day than with a dip in the pool! New this year, Centennial Pool and Discovery Bay Waterpark will now be accepting debit and credit cards.
Centennial Pool, located at 2315 Reservoir Rd., features a splash pad, diving board, small and large slides and a 50-meter lap pool. Discovery Bay Waterpark, located at 715 E. 24th St., is home to an iconic dinosaur-theme pool, lazy river, splash pad and a 243 ft. slide. Open swim hours are from noon to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $4 for youth/seniors, $4.50 adults and $1.50 for children 5 & under, accompanied by an adult. Both of our outdoor pools offer a 10-punch youth/senior pass option for $32 and $40 for adults.
The Wibit® AquaTrack is returning to the Centennial Pool on Thursdays, June 6 to July 18 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.. Come test your aquatic and agility skills!
The “Swim-In Movie” is back at Centennial Pool on Thursday, July 25 from 8 to 10 p.m. Float in the water while watching a film, snack on $1 bags of popcorn or grab dinner at the Wing Shack Food Truck. Admission is $4 for youth and seniors, $4.50 for adults and $1.50 for children 5 & under. Follow GreeleyRec on Facebook for movie title closer to the event.
Looking for a summer job? Become a lifeguard! Lifeguard Training at the Greeley Recreation Center is May 28 to 30 (blended-learning class) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and June 24 to 27.
