Step Back in Time with Homesteader’s Holiday
The Homesteader’s Holiday will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. December 2 at Centennial Village Museum.
The annual event offers visitors a chance to tour festively decorated historical homes and participate in several holiday activities. Guests can participate in crafts like candle dipping and paper ornament creation, enjoy musical entertainment at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., visit with Cowboy Santa, and more.
Selma’s Store, the museum’s gift shop, will be open for holiday shopping with some items on sale. Staff from Greeley’s Historic Preservation Program will also be onsite from noon to 1 p.m. to discuss the possible addition of Centennial Village to Greeley’s Historic Register.
Youth 12 and under are admitted free with canned food donation for Weld County Food Bank.
Centennial Village Museum
The museum is located at 1475 A Street on the south side of Island Grove Regional Park. For more information, call 970-350-9220 or visit greeleymuseums.com. Regular season hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from late May through early September.
