Teen Night Out at the Family FunPlex
Greeley Recreation will host a Teen Night Out event from 5-8 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Family FunPlex, 1501 65th Ave.
This event offers middle school and high school students a chance to socialize with friends, enjoy refreshments, experience facility amenities, and play games. The evening's activities include:
- Access to the indoor waterpark
- Organized sports in the fieldhouse
- Dodgeball | 5 p.m.
- Volleyball | 6 p.m.
- Basketball | 7 p.m.
- Yard games played indoors, such as corn hole and giant Jenga
- Chances to win prizes
City of Greeley Recreation staff used to coordinate teen events, but the last one took place more than five years ago.
"We're excited to bring back Teen Night Out," said Morgan Thompson, aquatics coordinator at the Family FunPlex. "Our goal is to great more events for teens to make friends and get involved with sports and other activities." More Teen Night Out events are being planned throughout 2022.
“Greeley Recreation is committed to provide activities for all ages and populations in the community,” said Recreation Supervisor, Natalee Gonzalez, “one of our goals is to offer more programs for teenagers.”
No pre-registration is required, as participants pay at the door. The events costs $3 with a student ID and $4 without a student ID.
