The Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave., welcomes two household names in country music, Mark Chesnutt and Tracy Byrd, hosted by the “Good Morning Guys” on Friday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m.
Before the live performances by country artists Chesnutt and Byrd, the UCCC stage will transform into the set of a morning TV talk show with the “Morning Guys,” set in the frozen tundra of North Dakota. One year after walking off the UCCC stage as the “Good Morning Guys,” Brian Gary, Todd Harding and Susan Moore are ready to make their return to the stage. The first trio ever inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame, they have plenty of stories to tell and will be bringing along their brand of humor that has kept Northern Colorado laughing for over three decades. Content from the opening act may not be suitable for younger audiences.
Following the “Morning Guys,” Chesnutt and Byrd, collectively known as the “Beaumont Boys,” will provide their own flare for country music. Chesnutt and Byrd are Country Music Association award winners, with countless #1 Billboard hits, who pride themselves on continuing to perform for their fans who have supported them throughout the years.
Chesnutt is one of country music’s true treasures. Reviewers have hailed him as a classic country singer of the first order and he has the means to back it up. Quite a career, and Byrd says he is grateful and loves performing more today than he ever has. He thanks his fans for allowing him to continue playing.
