The Eighties has Returned and We’re Not Looking Back

The Union Colony Civic Center, 701 10th Ave., presents “Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band.” All your favorite rock stars from the original Broadway musical “Rock of Ages,” live in concert on Friday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m. 

The musicians were declared as the driving force that rocked Broadway and millions of fans in the groundbreaking musical. These stars have collectively performed over 10,000 performances of the 5-time Tony Award nominated show, including the long running Broadway production and the critically acclaimed national tour.

“Broadway Rock of Ages Band” makes the stage come alive with rock hits from the best bands of the 1980s, including Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Journey, Whitesnake, Poison, Joan Jett, Styx, Pat Benatar, REO Speedwagon, Twisted Sister, Quiet Riot and more. In fact, the musicians in the “Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band” have played with, or currently play with many of these artists. Musicians from the original cast of Broadway “Rock of Ages” performing live in concert in “Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band” includes:

  • Tommy Kessler (Guitar) - Rock of Ages (Broadway and currently playing in the 2019 Broadway revival), Blondie, Blue Man Group (Broadway), Kristen Chenoweth
  • Angus Clark (Guitar) - Rock of Ages (Broadway); currently- Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Also Kitaro, Dare Devil Squadron, Queensryche, Yes, the Eagles, Bad Company, Queen
  • Richard Maheaux (Keyboards) - Rock of Ages (Broadway), Cirque du Soliel, currently playing with Enrique Iglesias’ World Tour
  • Tobias Ralph (Drums) – Rock of Ages (Broadway). Currently- Adrian Belew, Nena, Lauryn Hill, Duncan Sheik, 24-7 Spies, and Steve Augieri from Journey
  • Bob Goetz (Bass) - Rock of Ages (Broadway and currently playing in the 2019 Broadway revival), The Wanderer (Broadway), Powderfinger (NYC top classic rock band), Soulshine: East coast’s premier Allman brothers tribute.
  • Mig Ayesa (Male Lead vocals) - Rock of Ages (Broadway and National Tour), Thriller Live (West End London), We Will Rock You (West End London), Rent (West End London), Queen Symphonic Spectacular (Australia), Rock Star: INXS (CBS TV). Currently touring the world 
  • Josephine Rose Roberts (Female Lead vocals) - Rock of Ages (Broadway and National Tour), How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Broadway and National Tour), CATS (25th Anniversary National Tour) The Electric Company (TV).
