The Good Morning Guys Bring Back The Habajeeba Show to the UCCC Stage

The-Good-Morning-Guys

Former K99 radio hosts and entertainers, The Good Morning Guys, return to Greeley’s Union Colony Civic Center (UCCC) stage with their popular Habajeeba show, featuring a night of comedy and country music, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28 at 651 10th Ave.

The award-winning team, including Brian Gary, Todd Harding, and Susan Moore, invite long-time fans and country music enthusiasts to a night of improv, games, standup comedy, and performances from Northern Colorado country band, Bob Purcell and the Outriders, and Nashville-based singer-songwriter, George Birge.

Northern Colorado Radio Legends
For more than 30 years, The Guys joined early risers, commuters, and country music fans from 5 to 10 a.m. every weekday on 99.1 FM. Back in 1988, when the show began with Gary and Harding, K99 was QUAD99, “the power station,” providing listeners with rock and Top 40 hits.

After a decade on-air, Gary and Harding welcomed Moore as a co-host, and in 2017, the Country Radio Hall of Fame inducted the trio. After more than 8,000 shows during their 30-year run, The Good Morning Guys said goodbye, ending the show in 2019.

From Country Songwriter to TikTok SensationFor years, Birge cultivated his songwriting experience, penning music for artists like neo-traditionalist Clay Walker and country rapper Colt Ford. He recently experienced viral success on the platform TikTok, after taking the phrase “Beer Beer, Truck Truck,” and writing a country anthem about missing the one you love and wooing them to come back. Two weeks after posting the song, it received nearly three million views.

Now signed to the label RECORDS Nashville, Birge is gearing up to release his debut EP. To learn more, visit georgebirge.com.

The King of Colorado CountryPurcell is a well-known figure in the Northern Colorado music scene, playing venues like the Cow Palace in Fort Collins and events such as the Greeley Stampede for more than 30 years. Purcell returns once again as part of the Habajeeba show lineup, bringing his unique sound and beloved country hits to the UCCC stage.
