Experience one of today’s most beloved international folk acts, The Wailin’ Jennys, at Greeley’s Union Colony Civic Center at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29 at 701 10th Ave. The trio’s live performance showcases their show-stopping harmonies and dynamic stage presence, perfected over two decades.
Together, Ruth Moody, Nicky Mehta, and Heather Masse blend their distinct voices into an achingly perfect sound, creating some of the most exciting music on the folk-roots scene.
20 Years of Celebrated Folk Music
After performing together for what they thought would be a one-time-only gig in Winnipeg, Manitoba, The Wailin’ Jennys launched their first full-length album “40 Days,” in 2004, earning a 2005 Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year.
Their subsequent albums continued this upward trend, topping Billboard charts and earning recognition for works like their 2006 album, “Firecracker,” and their 2011 Juno-winning album, “Bright Morning Stars.”
