Third and Final Public Meeting for Bittersweet Park

Bittersweet-Park-1st-Public-Meeting

The City of Greeley’s third and last public meeting for Bittersweet Park Development is Thursday, February 7, 6 p.m. at the Greeley Police Department, Donahue Room, 2875 W 10th St. The park planning and design team have developed the preferred alternative by integrating citizens input received during Public Meeting #2: Landscape Conversion Alternatives. The team now seeks community input this one last time to help further refine the proposed park improvements.

The goals of the Bittersweet Park project include irrigation and water conservation improvements, increasing plant diversity and wildlife habitat, and enhancing drought-tolerance and landscape resilience.

The City encourages the public to attend public meetings, as they are a valuable resource to city planning and staff. The City of Greeley Culture, Parks and Recreation Department appreciates citizens’ participation in the planning, design and maintenance of our community parks, trails, and open lands.

As information becomes available after each meeting, the public can stay informed by visiting the PlayGreeley.com website.
