GREELEY, Colo. —Visit Greeley has been announced as the official tourism partner for the 2025 World Long Drive (WLD) World Championships. The WLD World Championship is scheduled for September 25-27, 2025, at Bigfoot Turf Farm in La Salle, Colorado. Competition will run daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the Men's and Women's Division Championship rounds taking place on Saturday, September 27. The Championships are open to the public and free to attend. Complimentary parking is available.

“World Long Drive looks forward to bringing the best hitters of the golf ball from across the globe to Greeley for the World Championships at Bigfoot Turf Farm in September,” said David Livingston, WLD Chief of Commercial Officer. "Our new partnership with Visit Greeley will build a strong foundation with the community and showcase the attractive hotels, restaurants and businesses in the area. We intend to put on a great show (perhaps a 500-yard drive) and provide great entertainment for the fans.”

This prestigious event is expected to attract national attention to the Greeley area. Greeley will be prominently featured across WLD’s media coverage, social media platforms, and on-site at the event.

WLD will also host Tour events at Bigfoot Turf Farm on Aug. 15-17 and September 3-5, 2025. The August weekend will include a Junior Golf Clinic aimed at teaching young players and promoting the sport. The clinic will end with a youth competition. The top four boys and top four girls from each age group will advance to compete on the Championship grid at the World Championships.

About the Championship

The annual World Long Drive World Championship crowns the world’s longest-hitting golfers across multiple divisions. WLD events are golf competitions that emphasize distance and power. Competitors go head-to-head in bracket-style matchups. Winners advance based on who can hit the ball the farthest and straightest.
