This World Environment Day, Recycle Glass to Give Back

On World Environment Day, June 5, Owens-Illinois (O-I) will host a friendly competition among its five GLASS4GOOD programs, including the City of Greeley. The community with the most glass recycling selfies posted on Instagram will earn an additional $500 for their charitable partner.

Greeley Adopts Unauthorized Camping Ordinance to Address Public Health, Safety and Community Concerns

On June 3, Greeley City Council approved a new ordinance that limits camping on public and private property. It also limits the outdoor storage of personal items on public property. The rule is part of a larger effort to deal with concerns about safety, health hazards and damage to public spaces and buildings.  

New Manhole Installation Requires Temporary Intersection Closure at 5th Street and 5th Ave

To install a new manhole at the intersection of 5th Street and 5th Ave, work crews will temporarily close the intersection next week to drivers going East, North and South. Drivers going West can still go through the intersection. Read more.
