Shower Better

The shower is a place where we can wake up, wind down, or clean up after a long day. But did you know it’s also a place where people are wasting water, energy, and money?

It’s true—the average American family uses nearly 40 gallons of water per day just for showering. That’s about 1.3 trillion gallons of water every year in the United States! It also takes energy to heat the water we use to shower. Replacing a showerhead with a WaterSense labeled model can help the average family shower better by reducing its energy and water costs by more than $70 and saving 2,700 gallons of water annually.

Look for the WaterSense Label
switch-and-save-artwork-for-advertisementsIn just one year, a WaterSense labeled showerhead can save the average family the amount of water it takes to wash more than 88 loads of laundry and the amount of electricity used to power its home for 11 days!

Like all WaterSense labeled products, showerhead models that earn the WaterSense label are independently certified to meet U.S. Environmental Protection Agency criteria for water savings and performance. You’ll get the same level of spray force and water coverage you’ve come to expect, which means you really will shower better.

Save Even More
The final Greeley showerhead exchange of the year will be on Saturday, September 21 from 8 a.m. until noon. The event takes place at the Greeley Farmers’ Market at the Union Pacific Depot, 902 7th Avenue in downtown Greeley.
