Water Quality

Public Notice

On August 5, Greeley Water & Sewer received two Treatment Technique Violations during a routine audit by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment that staff is now analyzing and working to fix. Neither of these violations threaten the quality of our water, but Greeley takes transparency seriously, and we have a duty to report issues and share information with our community. The City routinely monitors for a long list of potential contaminants in our water. Greeley’s drinking water starts as pure Rocky Mountain snowmelt and the Water Department uses the latest technologies and most effective practices to further improve the quality of our drinking water.

Greeley’s drinking water meets and exceeds all state and federal drinking water standards.

    • Yearly reporting - Each year in June, a new Drinking Water Quality Report is published for the previous year.
