Call for Nominations for 2019 Historic Preservation Month Awards
The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission invites the public to nominate people or projects for Historic Preservation Month Awards to celebrate historic preservation efforts in Greeley. With the awards, the Commission recognizes individuals, organizations, and design professionals/contractors who have significantly furthered preservation efforts and achievements in Greeley.
The award guidelines and nomination form document is available below or on the City of Greeley Historic Preservation website greeleygov.com/hp and from the Historic Preservation Office, 970-350-9222. Submit nominations to the Historic Preservation Office, 1100 10th Street, Suite 201, Greeley, CO 80631 or to betsy.kellums@greeleygov.com by noon on Friday, April 12, 2019. The Historic Preservation Commission will vote on the nominations and make presentations at the Historic Preservation Month event at the Greeley Masonic Temple, 829 10th Avenue on Thursday, May 9th at 6:30 p.m. The reception will be free and open to the public.
Award winners in May 2018 included Heather Bean of Syntax for preservation and rehabilitation of the Greeley Elevator Building at 700 6th Street and Green Earth Brewing for rehabilitation of the building at 725 10th Street.
