Financial Relief Available for Greeley's Low-Income Residents

The City of Greeley offers financial assistance to qualified Greeley residents from taxes paid on food the previous year. The program started in 1990 and expanded its benefit to include utility assistance credit applied to Greeley Water customer accounts. Residents of Greeley can apply for the city’s Low-Income Food Tax (LIFT) and Utility Programs (UP), beginning February 1.

Exciting Plans Shape the Future of Greeley’s Arroyos del Sol Natural Area

On February 28, 2025, Greeley closed on the Arroyos del Sol property and protected it with a conservation easement. This nearly 1,000-acre space is now safe for wildlife and outdoor activities. Trust for Public Land (TPL) bought the property in 2022, with support from Greeley and Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO), to protect it from development. Colorado Open Lands will hold the conservation easement in perpetuity.

Please note there is an updated guidance document as of 11-20-2020.  Licensed establishments can apply for temporary modifications to pre-plan for temporary outdoor seating areas to support social distancing requirements while complying with all public health orders and other liquor laws and regulations as a result of COVID-19. Liquor Variance
