Water Project Closes Portion of Greeley West Park Walking Path

Release Date:
Feb 7, 2025

GREELEY, Colo. — The construction of a new irrigation pump station at Greeley West Park may disrupt the routines of some who use the park. Portions of the walking path are closed for safety.

Greeley Water is replacing the current pump station. This will provide more non-potable water for irrigation in the park and nearby neighborhoods. Non-potable water is cheaper to use for irrigation because it doesn’t need to be treated to drinking water standards.

Please follow posted signs and avoid barricaded areas. The project is in progress and is scheduled for completion in July 2025.
