Proactive Approach to Removing Lead Pipes Prepares Greeley for Landmark Rule

On October 8, the Environmental Protection Agency announced a landmark rule called the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI). It requires water utilities to proactively replace water service lines that contain lead within 10 years.

The City of Greeley and Reynolds Construction recently completed phase 1 of the Terry Ranch pipeline project when it laid the final sections of the initial 7.7 miles of pipeline into place near Windsor.

Southbound 11th Avenue to Close July 22-31 for Water Project

A City of Greeley waterline project requires the closure of 11^th Avenue for southbound traffic between 26^th Street and Highway 34. The project is scheduled for July 22-31. Crews are connecting a new waterline to the existing water main between the southbound lanes of 11^th Avenue at 27^th Street.
