Join us for an old-fashioned Halloween celebration at the Centennial Village Museum Howl-O-Ween Twilight Trick-or-Treat. The gates will be open Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27 from 4 pm – 8 pm.
Bring your little ghost or goblin for a full night of spooky activities. Knock on the doors of the Village and get a sweet treat from the residents or get warm by the fire with warm drinks and treats sold.
More trick or treat activities like, candle dipping, pick your own pumpkin and spooky hay-rack rides will be available all evening long. Craft and take home your very own creepy corn husk doll. Try to find your way through the winding maze of hay or enjoy a classic Halloween tradition and see how long it takes you to snatch an apple at the old blacksmith shop.
Visit one of the favorite personalities that come back to life each year, Roy Has-Been or Madame Lyncheska. Children beware! Have you been a good little boy or girl, do you deserve a treat? Roy Has-been will be the “Judge” of that. Glimpse into your future as the Village seer, Madame Lyncheska interprets your destiny with Tarot cards.
Think you have the best costume? Put your costume to the test and enter the Centennial Village Costume Contests at 5 pm and 7 pm. Win a special prize of historical goodies! Prizes awarded to first, second and third place contestants.
Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for kids (3 – 18) and students and free for children 2 years and under. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Howl-O-Ween Twilight Trick-or-Treat is sponsored by Anadarko Petroleum Company.
