The mission of the Department of Culture, Parks, and Recreation is to provide quality recreational and cultural programs for all age groups through innovation, effectiveness and efficiency.

The Union Colony Civic Center (UCCC) is the premier performing arts center in Northern Colorado. Their annual line-up includes Broadway shows, national touring groups and musical entertainment. The UCCC is also home to the Greeley Philharmonic, the UNC Jazz Fest, community and school events, and more.
You can also explore the fascinating history of Greeley, Weld County, and Colorado's High Plains through our museum programs and facilities, which are a part of our Cultural Affairs division.
Golfers of all experience levels will love the beautiful settings and challenging greens along with the great food, clinics and lessons, and tournament hosting that our two public golf course, Highland Hills and Boomerang Links, have to offer.
Trees planted as far back as 1869, spacious lawns and a range of facilities that border the Poudre River have earned Island Grove Regional Park a reputation as one of the most picturesque and versatile events complexes in the nation. Island Grove is a multi-use events complex owned by the City of Greeley and Weld County. Located on 145 acres, there is plenty of space for all ages to play!

A program created to help focus our city on the quality of life for youth and families. There are many great ways to get involved to give our youth the opportunity for leadership and encouragement, and to teach them to be proud of their name, heritage, culture, faith, community, and country.
The Union Colony Civic Center provides accessible seating and hearing impaired assistive listening devices. Upon request and with a two week advance notice, we can provide braille or large print programs, descriptive services and sign language interpreters. Please ask when purchasing tickets, our staff is happy to help. Please ask too if you need help finding aisle seats, seating areas with no stairs or wider seats.

The Greeley Museum sites provide accessibility to all areas with the exception of a few historic buildings - for example, there are no elevators to the second floor of the Meeker Home and some of the historic homes at Centennial Village. At the Meeker Home, there is narrated walk through of the second floor, presented on the first floor.

We offer handicap flags for the electric golf carts. We ask all golfers to keep off the tees and greens; handicap flagged electric carts can park next to tees and greens.
Our indoor and outdoor facilities are accessible, and we are proud to be the future home of Aven's Village, a universally accessible playground for all children.

ADA accessible viewing areas for events at Butch Butler Field, Twin Rivers Softball Field and Forbes Field (at Forbes, ramping and walkways now connect the parking lot to the lower level seating and the dugouts as well as access to the ball field).
ADA accessible restrooms are available at Twin Rivers Park, Sanborn Park, Centennial Park, Bittersweet Park and Sherwood Park.
Sherwood Park (next to Scott Elementary) has a new playground which includes engineered wood fiber with ramped entrances, an ADA swing, and the playground is accessible from the parking area near the tennis courts.
East Memorial Park (adjacent to Bella Romero K-3) has a new playground which includes a surface combination of wood fifer and rubber. Rubber extends from the perimeter walk to the transfer station on the composite structure. Rubber also extends below to an ADA swing. ADA compliant walkway now connects to a portable restroom. Curb cuts are available for curb side parking access.
Aven's Village playground at Island Grove Regional Park will be fully accessible/inclusive.

Rooms are available to rent for meetings, birthday parties and more in many of our facilities including the Family FunPlex, the Ice Haus, the Union Colony Civic Center and many of our museums and other historic sites.

The FunPlex, is located within the Twin Rivers Community Park at 65th Avenue and 16th Street. It’s a great place to socialize, relax, celebrate and take care of business. Featured amenities include; Adventure Island Indoor Waterpark, River Run Adventure Mini Golf, the Willie Morton Fitness Center, Senior Room, Indoor Fieldhouse, Kid Kare and most importantly, our Multi-Purpose Rooms.
The Multi-Purpose Rooms are available for special event rentals, including wedding receptions, rehearsals, showers, community events, corporate meetings or retreats, special interest classes and recreation programming.
Enjoy 18 holes of miniature golf in a custom-designed course that reflects and allows you to putt through Poudre Canyon! This amazing course can be rented for company events, retreats and birthday parties.
Twin Rivers Community Park & Amphitheater
Imagine acres of grass, trees, trails and wetlands. Then add a lake, amphitheatre, the Luminarias, a playground, park shelters and an adult softball complex. Top it off with the fantastic Greeley Family FunPlex, and you’ve got a terrific community park. That’s Twin Rivers Community Park. The Ice Haus is Northern Colorado’s premier indoor ice arena. This addition to Greeley’s historic downtown was carefully designed so that its exterior façade reflects strong, rich traditional architecture while enclosing a state-of-the-art operation.
The Ice Haus has 4 rooms available for rental purposes such as birthdays, meetings, Quinceañeras, or anything you desire to celebrate! Hours vary depending on the event requested. Non-profit rates are available per request. Broomball and fundraiser opportunities are also available.

Hourly ice rentals, unless otherwise specified, begin with a resurfaced sheet of ice. The Ice Haus charges for block ice, which means the user is responsible for paying the hourly rental rate from the time the rental begins until the time the rental ends. Ice resurfacing time is included within the hour of rental and is included in the hourly charge for that rental.
10-24 people receive $0.50 off admission
25-49 people receive $1.00 off admission
50-75 people receive $1.50 off admission
75+ people receive $2 off admission
The Ice Haus reserves the right to charge an event fee for special events or rentals that require additional staff and cleaning time. This fee will be noted prior to the beginning of a contracted special event.

The Greeley Recreation Center is a 105,000 square foot full-service Community Center. It includes a fitness facility, racquetball courts, indoor pool, rock climbing wall, two gymnasiums and rooms to rent for parties, banquets and special events. A wide variety of room sizes are sure to accommodate your large or small event.

The Greeley Senior Activity Center (GSAC) has several rooms available to rent. Perfect for every occasion, the Center can be reserved for weddings, receptions, showers, meetings and training programs.
The newly remodeled lower level meeting rooms are spacious and bright. The large classroom holds approximately 70 people very comfortably. The meeting rooms can be converted into three separate rooms or remain as a single large room for big groups. The dining room is also available for large meetings or events and has a full service kitchen adjacent to the area, should you choose to have food served at your function.

The Rodarte Center has rooms and an outdoor pavilion that are available to rent. The shelter is equipped with electrical and two large barbecue grills and seats 90 people. Park also includes softball field, playground, one restroom and plenty of parking.
