2021 Festival of Trees
The year 2020 may have dampened our efforts to bring the Festival of Trees to the community, but we are full-sleigh ahead for 2021! For many in Greeley, the holiday season is wrapped in the Festival of Trees tradition and begins the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 26, and continues through the following Saturday, Dec. 4. Nine days of festive, frolicking fun!
The 32nd annual Festival of Trees is presented by the City of Greeley and the Greeley Philharmonic Guild. The first and second floors of the Union Colony Civic Center’s lobbies will be transformed into a winter wonderland of beautifully decorated trees and displays, each with its own theme and style. From whimsical to elegant and everything in between, this year promises to be no different.
The 2021 Festival of Trees special events include Whoville Holiday, Watercolor & Wine, and the Teddy Bear Bash. In addition to public hours and the individual special events, there will be an amazing live/online auction, horse carriage rides (Nov. 27 & Dec. 3), entertainment, and of course, visits from St. Nick and Mrs. Claus – all packaged in this nine-day festival which is almost as magical as Santa himself!
