DOGGIE DAY

Bring your dog out to Discovery Bay Waterpark for the City of Greeley’s 3rd annual dog swim. Tickets are on sale now through 3pm Aug 15 at the Family FunPlex (1501 65th Ave) or the Greeley Recreation Center (651 10th Ave) for just $5 (admits one dog and two human friends). $8 the day of at the door; $2 for each additional human friend. There are two sessions to choose from — 10am-12pm for dogs up to 50 lbs. and from 1-3pm for dogs 51 lbs. or more - limited to 100 participants per session. Call (970) 350-9401 with questions. YOUTH HOCKEY LEAGUES
Recreational Hockey registers Aug 19-Sept 18; Hockey Cub registers Aug 24-Sept 21. Program begins the week of Sept 15. Fee is $53 for residents, $63 for non-residents. Rental equipment $75 (refundable).

RODARTE FLAG FOOTBALL PROGRAM

DINKY DUNKERS

Introduce your little hoopster to the sport of basketball and watch them go "swish!" Season starts Oct 27. These CO-ED teams practice for 45 minutes twice a week. Participants need to have a City of Greeley Youth Sports jersey. Age 6-7 yrs. Fee $40 residents, $50 non-residents.

SHOWTIME

In eight weekly classes, students will learn song and dance numbers and acting. On the final day of class, they will put on a performance for their families. Fee $48. Held at the Greeley Rec Center. Call Julie at (970) 371-6347 with questions.

GREELEY RECREATIONAL SWIM CLUB

Students will learn four basic strokes: freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly. Participants must be able to swim the length of the pool using a competitive stroke. Offered at the Greeley Recreation Center on T/Th from 5:30-6:15pm. Fee $35 residents, $45 non-residents.

AFTER SCHOOL ART FUN

Kids 6-10 years old will explore media as well as creativity in this class. Students will spend each day creating an original piece of artwork. Improve drawing skills and work with clay, collage and paint at the FunPlex. Fee $40 includes materials.
