Garden-in-a-Box Program

The City of Greeley and the Center for ReSource Conservation (CRC) are offering an easy, fun and affordable way to create beautiful, water-conserving gardens through the purchase of a Garden-in-a-Box kit.

The CRC, a nonprofit serving the Front Range, has been putting Xeric Garden plant kits together for many years. They call the kit ‘Garden-In-A-Box’ because it contains everything you need as a Front Range resident to easily plant a landscape that provides beauty and happiness. Not only is it full of lush blooming perennials but also comes with an easy design that makes planting a xeric garden a breeze. Best of all, each garden is being offered below retail price and once established it uses less water than a traditional landscape.

Colorado cities partner with CRC to help expedite the offer of low water gardens; residents in Greeley receive an additional $25 off of the already low cost gardens. Efficient watering options, consultations, planting services and vegetable gardens are also available. Don’t wait because supplies and services are limited. Gardens can be pre-ordered starting March 1st and will be available for pickup in Greeley on Saturday, May 18th from 9am – Noon at 2503 Reservoir Road.

Order by visiting the CRC Website at
or by calling 303.999.3820 Ext. 222.
