Title

Composting Workshop

Body

The City of Greeley Water Conservation Program and the High-Plains Library District presents the last of a four workshop series Landscaping in the 21st Century Series. The monthly programs have been held on Wednesday evenings between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Farr Regional Library at 1939 61st Avenue. Ruth Quade, Greeley’s Water Conservation Coordinator, presented at each of these events. All of the workshops are free and open to the public. Weld County Master Gardeners are on hand to answer questions about landscaping.

The final workshop, taking place on August 28, is on composting. Compost is an organic  soil amendment consisting largely of decayed organic matter and is used for  conditioning Colorado’s Front Range soils . Join us to learn about composting, how it benefit your garden, how to make it, and how to contain it in a system.
