Haley Madsen, a Greeley Ice Haus figure skater, recently qualified for the US Figure Skating 2025 Excel Series National Final and Festival in Colorado Springs. Held at the Broadmoor World Arena on July 9-14, the event is for top skaters.

On July 21, City Historic Preservation Planner Betsy Kellums will lead a walking tour of downtown. The tour focuses on Greeley Modern architecture, including buildings from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. The tour will meet on the north side of City Hall, 1000 10th Street, at 6:00 p.m. Comfortable walking shoes and a water bottle are encouraged. The tour route is wheelchair accessible.

Author John Daly will give a presentation at the Greeley History Museum on July 12 about the connections between his book “Safeguard” and Weld County’s Atlas E Missile site. The Atlas Missile and the Cold War are the focus of the museum’s exhibit, “13-Minute Warning: Weld County in the Cold War.”

Greeley's Got It
Greeley's Got It is an initiative created to further the sense of civic pride that Greeley, Colorado residents have for their beloved city. Greeley is many things to many different people; however, what is most interesting about the City of Greeley to any resident or visitor is as unique as that individual itself.
