ACE (Achieving Community Excellence)
Achieving Community Excellence (ACE) was created by the Greeley City Council in 2012 to support its objective to improve Greeley’s Civic Infrastructure. ACE envisions a community that recognizes and capitalizes on the power that aligned principled relationships have to build and sustain community excellence.
For ACE, relational excellence means that we seek, develop, and multiply for the purpose of bringing people together to address issues bigger than themselves. The ACE vision for relational excellence is explained by the ACE Pyramid.
Current college freshmen and graduating high school students involved in the Weld County Bright Futures program should be aware of the quickly approaching June 30, 2017 deadline for the submittal of enrollment materials.
ACE Athletics strives to build a culture where “team” comes first! The initiative offers training, speaking events, and the Growing Leaders Habitudes for Athletes® curriculum which features leadership habits and attitudes through the use of images. As part of our partnership with Growing Leaders, please reflect on the Habitude "Lightning Rods".
Grants will be awarded to businesses to provide workers, who reside in disaster-declared counties (including Weld), an opportunity to attend customized workforce training classes to enhance skills.
What should athletes do between practices? The legendary Coach John Wooden had some unique ideas for athletes that included suggestions for both mental and moral conditioning that could be done off the court.
The Career Pathways internship program connects business partners to Greeley and Evans high school juniors with specific career interests in the hope of developing a highly engaged and trained workforce. Crabtree Brewing Company is an example of one of our local businesses that will be hosting high school interns this summer.
