The City hosted the Greeley Remarkable
event at the new Hilton DoubleTree hotel and with support from Greeley businesses worked to begin aligning workforce development efforts, i.e. high school and college educational offerings, with real-life employment opportunities. That alignment, coupled with community leadership development, has the power to create valuable assets for students, educators and industry. Thank you to our supporters who created this success on so many levels: our presenting sponsor First National Bank, and our other major sponsors Ehrlich Toyota, SRC Energy, Chick-fil-A and the DoubleTree by Hilton-Greeley at Lincoln Park.
ACE (Achieving Community Excellence)
Achieving Community Excellence (ACE) was created by the Greeley City Council in 2012 to support its objective to improve Greeley’s Civic Infrastructure. ACE envisions a community that recognizes and capitalizes on the power that aligned principled relationships have to build and sustain community excellence.
For ACE, relational excellence means that we seek, develop, and multiply for the purpose of bringing people together to address issues bigger than themselves. The ACE vision for relational excellence is explained by the ACE Pyramid.

One of our goals in District 6 is to help our student-athletes approach both endeavors from the “growth” mindset perspective.
ACE hosted three Barn Raising Socials to listen to the concerns of local industry partners. Four themes clearly emerged from the business community: workforce, housing, education, and community collaboration.
