There are 10 standards in four different categories schools must meet to be considered which include: Special Olympics Unified Sports, inclusive youth leadership, whole-school engagement, and sustainability.
University of Northern Colorado: $1 Million Grant – Digital Screening InterventionThe Department of Health and Human Services recently awarded the University of Northern Colorado a $1 million grant to collaborate on the project with Cliexa, a digital health technology company. The funding supports a 2-year study involving 700 participants, ages 14-24, and will assess the effectiveness of a new digital intervention system in clinical settings to foster earlier identification of high-risk adolescents.
Weld Food Bank: $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist GrantThe Weld Food Bank is one of 40 winners across the nation, and the only winner in Colorado, to receive a $25,000 grant from State Farm Neighborhood Assist, a program that encourages communities to identify issues in their neighborhoods. The grant will go toward funding for 6 months of Saturday distribution hours.
